Yin Yoga is the ancient practice of slowing down to release the deeper layers of the body. Passive, stretch poses are held for 3-5 minutes to allow connective tissue, neural tissue, and scar tissue to unravel. We refer to this practice as, “the work,” because being still and silent with oneself is incredible challenging. Doing this gentle excavation for your mind and body is transformative and deeply gratifying.
