Laura, owner of Charm Sound Healing, is a certified Level 2 sound healing practitioner. Trained by the Sound Healing Academy International out of the UK. She specializes in Transformational Sound Journeys, working with individual clients and multiple instruments to harmonize and integrate the energies of mind, body, heart, and soul through sound energy.

Laura’s vocation as a sound healer came from the magical weaving together of many different paths:

1. Formal education in music,

2. Years working in theatre as a professional actress

3. A life-long interest in different spiritual practices and beliefs

4. Training as a yoga teacher

5. A love of nature and wild places, and

6. A master’s program in Ecology and Spirituality that gave her academic language and insight of the vibrational world — key to understanding sound as a healing force.

Working with elemental and natural energies in our more-than-human world is key to Laura’s sound practice. She continues to study natural magic, energy and Celtic Shamanistic techniques under the guidance of Danú Forest, author and Celtic wise woman from Glastonbury, UK.  In addition to serving individual clients, Laura also hosts private groups, Sound Circles and is available to provide sounds for your class, organization or workshop.
